Tasting notes of syrup, chocolate, and soft fruits
Casa Espresso have released the 5th edition of their famous Unione Espresso Blend! It’s a seasonal roast with excellent balance and fruity and creamy tones.
The blend is made up of 2 different coffees, which bring out the amazing flavours of South American coffee. They are blended to be enjoyed as an espresso coffee, but can of course be used as the foundations of your milky brew.
Brazil Patricia Coelho:Â Patricia has taken over family’s business in Esperito Santo do Penhal, which is known for the quality of its coffees that are consumed across the world. Casa Espresso have a great working relationship with Patricia, so the sourcing of this coffee is fair and ethical!
Colombia Volcano:Â The Volcano coffee is the highest-grown coffee in Colombia! This means that the temperatures are low which makes the coffee cherries mature slowly. What is the benefit of slow maturing coffee beans? Well, the sweetness of the coffee increases as more natural sugars are formed. This sugar is removed in the coffee production process, but it leaves a unique taste on the coffee that every coffee fan should experience. Being grown in volcanic soils means that the coffee is constantly soaking up the huge amount of nutrients found where it is grown. The boost of nutrients, and the slow maturing of the cherries, means that the coffee beans that reach your cup are like no coffee you have tried before.
