We kicked off All Things Coffee as a few coffee-adoring guys in the north-west of England who wanted to build relationships in the coffee world and use those to sell the best equipment to hospitality businesses and to home coffee fans too. After building a name for ourselves as the go-to provider of commercial coffee machinery in North Yorkshire and Cumbria, we took it to the national stage. As we have extended our reach and brought on the biggest names in coffee machinery and grinders, we have helped incredible people with a passion for outstanding coffee who are looking to serve their customers the best.

The coffee scene in the UK all began in the 17th century when professionals used to meet to have spritely business chats over a coffee. These “coffee shops” then became designated places of business. Did you know that Lloyd’s bank started out as a coffee shop?

Now, the high streets are awash with chain coffee shops. These coffee shops put far less effort into sourcing their coffees. They rely on a steady and cheap blend of hundreds of coffees to be able to achieve their huge profits. For a small amount more money, why wouldn’t you try some single origin coffees that are fully tracible? 

But UK has not stopped evolving yet. COVID lockdown saw the rise of independent coffee roasters who have a passion for delicious coffee and want the UK consumers to experience it with them.
