.An Introduction
AeroPress coffee is hugely popular in the speciality coffee world right now, and if you brew coffee this way you’ll surely know why! The AeroPress coffee maker is quick and easy, and with minimal waste which makes it the ideal travel companion for speciality coffee lovers who like to be on the move. From afar, AeroPress coffee looks tricky and different, but we have broken it down into simple steps to get you brewing-up with AeroPress. AeroPress coffee is consistent as an output of the below, this is due to easily measurable steps and with a complete removal of grounds and sediment – your stomach will thank you!
Firstly, its important to use the right grand size for your AeroPress brew. If grind sizes are too small or too big, you might find that the ideal extraction percentage isn’t achieved. All of our speciality coffees have grind size options to make this as easy as possible. Remember to leave your boiled kettle for a minute or 2, to stop the high temperatures from ruining the coffee taste.

Step 1
Attach the outer chamber to the inner chamber so that the outer is in line with the number 4. The AeroPress logo should be readable from top to bottom, and not bottom to top. Put 16-20g of your medium-fine speciality coffee into the chamber.
Coffee in AeroPress might feel fiddly to begin with due to the component parts, but once you’ve made 1, you’ve made 1,000!

Step 2
Add hot water to the AeroPress chamber, all the way up to the number 1 marking.
Stir the coffee with the provided stirrer, and let it sit for 20-30 seconds. Coffee in AeroPress is fast and easy, even if you like a strong one, 30 seconds should do it!
Step 3
Give your AeroPress filter paper a quick rinse to remove any intervening tastes, place the filter into the filter cap, and screw on to the bottom of your AeroPress.
Coffee in AeroPress guarantees a consistent taste due to its measured approach, but rinsing filter papers is always a good assurance.

Step 4
Position your AeroPress over the top of your favourite mug and carefully push the inner chamber downwards, and your speciality coffee through the filter and into the mug.
Enjoy the start of your AeroPress coffee journey!
Enjoy!
