Coffee tree in El Salvador

El Salvador - Chalcuapa - Finca San Antonio - SHG Green Coffee Beans

Introducing our El Salvador - Chalcuapa - Finca San Antonio - SHG coffee sourced from the scenic region of Chalcuapa in El Salvador.

This coffee is grown at an elevation of 1400-1700 masl, derived from Bourbon varieties, and processed using the wet process technique. It holds RFA certification, guaranteeing quality and sustainability. Upon brewing, the coffee exhibits flavors of sweet caramel and chocolate, along with lively acidity and a medium body that evolves into a creamy, rich sweetness in the end. For best results, we suggest roasting it to a medium level.

Finca San Antonio Amatepec's commitment to social and environmental standards, the fair treatment of their employees, and the strong bond with local communities position them as a leading coffee farm in El Salvador. The country has made significant strides in becoming a top coffee producer globally. In 1880, gourmet coffee surpassed indigo as the primary export crop. To support this thriving industry, the government implemented measures like tax incentives for farmers and waived export duties for coffee producers. These initiatives also spurred infrastructure development, including roads and railways to connect farms, and facilitated the integration of indigenous communities into the national economy.
