Cafiza® E16 tablets are compact 1.2g cleaning tablets for daily use in automatic and traditional espresso machines.

Compatibility: Product: E16 Cafiza Tablets Compatible machines: Carimali, Concordia, Ergo, Newco, Nuova Simonelli, Schaerer USA, Sielaff, Rancilio and Reneka. The tablets dissolve quickly, removing coffee oils, residue and tannins from internal parts. This helps maintain consistent coffee flavour and supports long-term machine care. Cafiza E16 tablets suit a wide range of commercial and domestic espresso machines. They are NSF-certified and safe for metal parts, making them suitable for daily cleaning and backflushing.

Instructions

Automatic espresso machines

1. Place one Cafiza® Espresso Machine Cleaning Tablet in the machine opening. Follow the manufacturer's maintenance and cleaning instructions.
2. For daily use.

Traditional espresso machines

1. Fit a blind filter in the portafilter and add one Cafiza® tablet. Lock the portafilter into the group head.
2. Run the brew cycle for 10 seconds, then stop for 10 seconds. Repeat five times.
3. Remove the portafilter. Run the brew cycle and rinse the portafilter under water from the group head, then stop the cycle.
4. Fit the portafilter into the group head. Run the brew cycle for 10 seconds, then stop for 10 seconds. Repeat five times.
5. Make and discard one espresso to check that no residue remains.
