IKAPE Double Bearing Coffee Distributor

The new design of the IKAPE espresso distributor improves ease of use with a two-bearing system. Instead of rotating as a whole, this one-piece distributor has a bottom rotation and two bearings, making it much easier to turn. Traditional coffee distributors rotate in full as a unit, but this upgrade allows smoother handling.

The magnetic levitation balance ring offers a clear advantage over older designs. Instead of falling due to gravity, this ring uses magnetic attraction to stay in place. This creates a feeling of floating, which helps in evenly levelling the coffee powder. When you adjust it, the ring gently presses back, ensuring a flat surface for tamping. You only need to level the coffee, not press it down. This distributor handles surface levelling efficiently without compacting the coffee.

The surface of the distributor has also been improved. Unlike traditional models with three or four sides that create uneven surfaces, the new IKAPE version offers a smoother, more uniform flatness. Earlier espresso distributor models can trap coffee powder at the bottom, especially during reverse or clockwise rotations. The shape of the paddle surface varies in those models, causing uneven results. But, the new double-bearing design ensures a consistent, flat coffee bed no matter which way it rotates. It prevents powder from sticking or getting stuck in the bottom.

Made from food-grade materials, the IKAPE espresso distributor uses 304 stainless steel for the base and an aluminium alloy shell. Both materials meet strict safety standards for contact with food. This makes it easy to clean, including being dishwasher safe, ensuring hygiene and durability.

For best results, pair the IKAPE distributor with the IKAPE Impact Coffee Tamper. Using the tamper after distributing helps produce a better espresso extraction.
