In Piendamó, at the heart of Cauca, lies the non-profit organization known as Asociacion de Caficultores del Centro del Cauca por la Paz (ACC). Founded in 2016, ACC is committed to cultivating high-quality coffee and overseeing every stage of the coffee production process. Their primary aim is to enhance the well-being of farming communities and establish a sustainable future for the coffee sector.

ACC grows various coffee types such as Castillo, Cenicafé, Tabi, Bourbon, Caturra, and Colombia. They primarily use parabolic and mechanical silos for coffee drying. Housed in a rented facility in Piendamó, the association operates its own coffee laboratory equipped with the necessary tools for coffee selection and cupping, conducted by a certified Q-Grader. With a focus on collaboration, ACC has 77 members who tend to an average of 1.5 hectares of land each, situated between 1,700 and 2,100 meters above sea level.

They are dedicated to combating poverty and social conflicts by implementing strategies and enhancing access to agricultural technology. In 2023, ACC acquired 900,000 kg of parchment coffee, with 20,000 kg achieving an impressive rating of 86+. This marks a significant accomplishment for the organization.
