The Light Coffees Bundle

£27.00

The Light Roast Coffees Bundle by All Things Coffee celebrates both the best of the UK’s coffee roasters, and the best of their lighter coffees. Lighter coffees are usually higher in acidity, and with all of their natural flavours preserved due to less time exposed to heat.

Description

Light roasts preserve the majority of the coffee’s original traits. These beans exhibit a light brown or tan hue and have little to no oil on their surface. They possess the highest acidity, making them the most vibrant among the three roasting levels. The distinct characteristics of various coffee origins are especially evident in light roasts, highlighting the unique qualities of each coffee type. A significant portion of the flavor originates from the unroasted beans, which is why light roasts are frequently chosen for cupping sessions. Light roasts are also referred to as Half City, Light City, or New England roasts.
