Nicaragua Finca La Bastilla –Â Tasting notes of green apple, orange and custard creams.
DIRECT TRADE  | UK EXCLUSIVE  | RAINFOREST ALLIANCE  | SCA 86
Our classic medium-light roast of this estate. Notes of green apple, orange and custard creams. La Bastilla as espresso has flavors reminiscent of lemon poppy seed cake and Frangipane. It is delicious, very sweet, and serves as a successful example of our dedication to collaborating with coffee farms in a sustainable manner that benefits both parties. This also contributes to the growth of local communities by supporting education, healthcare, and personal development initiatives.
Kenya Kariti –Â Tasting notes of rose hip, orange, and cranberry
SCA 87  | SL28 & RUIRU 11  | WASHED PROCESS  | SINGLE ORIGIN  | 100% ARABICA  | 1490-1500M
Lovely honey-noted sweetness and a silky body. Notes of rose hip, orange and cranberry. In the washed process, the coffee seed’s flesh is fully removed before drying. This method decreases the chance of defects and leads to the final product having distinct and predictable flavor profiles compared to natural processed coffees.
Colombian Excelso Medellin –Â Tasting notes of gooseberry, wine gums, and praline.
SCA 84.25  | CATURRA & TYPICA  | WASHED PROCESS  | SINGLE ORIGIN  | 100% ARABICA  | 1300-1650M
Sticky and sweet, and perfectly balanced. Notes of gooseberry, wine gums and praline. The varieties commonly used in this region are representative of Colombia as a whole. Following a severe outbreak of coffee leaf rust in 2008-2009 that devastated the harvest, there has been a notable rise in the cultivation of more disease-resistant types such as Castillo, developed by Colombia’s National Center for Coffee Investigation in 2005.
Brazilian – Tasting notes of praline, raisin, and maple syrup.
SCA 84.5  | YELLOW CATUCAI  | NATURAL PROCESS  | SINGLE ORIGIN  | 100% ARABICA  | 1050-1150M
A natural processed Brazilian with a full body and sweet notes of praline, raisin and maple syrup. The Catucai variety is a hybrid of Icatu and Catuai, a resilient plant known for its high yield, particularly suitable for the lower elevations typical of coffee cultivation in Brazil. This coffee boasts prominent flavors of grape and maple syrup sweetness, a rich body, and is cultivated by a remarkable family. We are honored to collaborate with the dedicated team at Mió.

All that’s left to do is to choose the grind size that would best suit your brew style. Coffee grind size is important, as different brew methods need different grind coarseness in order to achieve the right extraction rates. Here’s a tip for you, in order to maximise the coffee taste in your cup, you should opt for beans and grind at home to make the drink as fresh as possible. In need of a grinder?Â
