Lovely honey-noted sweetness and a silky body.

For three decades, we’ve consistently roasted various kinds of Kenyan AA coffee for their exceptional quality, particularly those cultivated near Mount Kenya. Anticipate a delightful mix of sweetness, acidity, and fruity undertones in each batch.
This specific lot boasts prominent flavors of cranberry, orange sweetness, and a fragrant conclusion. Cultivated in the fertile red volcanic soils of Kirinyaga County, south of Mount Kenya and east of Nyeri County, this coffee originates from the renowned Kenyan varietals, SL28 & Ruiru 11. Bred specifically for Kenya’s climate, these varietals are esteemed for their exceptional cup profiles globally. The ‘AA’ designation indicates the size of the bean, with each green coffee bean measuring slightly over one-fourth inch (¼”) in diameter.
Wogan Coffee: We are making progress towards our goal of being Carbon Neutral by 2030. Our updated fleet of electric vehicles is charged by solar panels on our warehouses, generating enough electricity to power our operations at the roastery, Brew Bar, and Training Campus each year.
The Roastery features two refurbished vintage coffee roasters – a 1991 Probat for 150 kilo roasts and a 1968 Probat for 90 kilos. Additionally, we use newer roasters (a 30 kilo Joper, a 1 kilo North, and a 50g sample Ikawa) for various purposes like cupping new coffees, creating monthly specials, and hosting bi-weekly cupping sessions.
We are exploring the use of an electric roaster for smaller batch roasts. To minimize environmental impact, all our packaging is now LDPE, ensuring easy recycling for our customers.
